We are selling the contents of the Abbott Estate at 180 Chestnut Knoll off
Flat Road in West Bethel, Maine. Easy access from Route 2 East or West.

Many quality furnishings and accessories and a large lot of woodworking tools and other equipment. Photos and descriptions have been posted, but there are piles more of different items throughout the house, cellar, garage & shed.

Note: Mr. Abbott had a real nice woodworking shop, making decoys and cabinets, many of the pieces in the estate were made by him. The tools were so well cared for, they don't even look used. Mrs. Abbott was a crafter & quilter, there are hundreds of quilting pieces, accessories & tools. She also collected many posters of the Common Ground Fair and Bethel area events, these will all be in the sale.

Directions: Exit 63 Maine turnpike, north on Rt. 26 to Bethel,right on route 2, follow 2 to West Bethel, left on West Bethel Road, signs will be posted.. From NH, go to Berlin/Gorham, take route 2 east to site. From east, take route 2 west to site. Watch for signs. Note, this is a Maine auction in the early fall, dress accordingly. Parking will be limited to one side of the road, note that Chestnut Knoll is a dirt road up a long winding hill, parking on right side of road only.

No catering available, so get snacks & coffee on your way. Dunkin Donuts on route 2 just east of Bethel, many other places in downtown Bethel. This is on an October Fall Day in Maine, dress accordingly.
